Partner doctor “Spine & Pain Clinic”, Hirslanden Clinic Zurich
Since 2022, doctor Dennler MD has been a partner doctor in the Spine & Pain Clinic Zurich as well as an independent attending doctor with consultation hours, operations and interventions at the renowned Hirslanden Clinic in Zurich. The interdisciplinary exchange between colleagues in the Spine & Pain Clinic is very important to him for the treatment of his patients. Thanks to the partnership with the Spine and Pain Clinic, the first-class infrastructure of the Hirslanden Clinic and its countless specialists from practically all medical fields, he is able to provide his patients with optimal interdisciplinary care. In order to keep the travelling time for his patients from the Zurich Oberland and Canton Schwyz as short as possible, doctor Dennler also offers external consultation hours in Rüti ZH and in Bäch SZ.

Basic medical training (surgery and orthopaedics)
Doctor Dennler MD studied human medicine at the University of Berne and then underwent basic surgical training including IPS rotation (Common Trunk). Due to his interest in the treatment of injuries to the musculoskeletal system, he soon switched to orthopaedics and came into contact with patients with back problems for the first time. As his interest in spinal surgery grew, he decided to focus on this field.

Training and further education with a focus on spinal surgery
He therefore continued his training at various specialist clinics and learned to treat a wide range of spinal complaints and injuries conservatively and surgically (with/without surgery), such as back pain caused by wear and tear (disc hernia/herniated disc, spinal canal stenosis, spinal stenosis, spinal stenosis, spinal stenosis, spinal stenosis, spinal stenosis, spinal stenosis, spinal stenosis), spinal canal stenosis, spondylolisthesis), accident-related complaints (fractures), age-related fractures (fractures due to osteoporosis/bone loss), inflammations/infections and tumour-related complaints (metastases/offshoots of cancer). Training as a certified medical assessor of the Swiss Insurance Medicine SIM rounds off his profile.

Augmented reality in the field of “computer-assisted” surgery
Doctor Dennler is originally a trained electronics technician and studied medicine on the second educational path. However, his affinity for electronics has remained with him to this day: he is the scientific author and co-author of several studies on the subject of augmented reality in the field of “computer-assisted” surgery.
